Changes to player character:
- Pistol damage amount: 20 -> 36
- Shotgun damage amount: 11.5 per pellet (7 pellets per shell) -> 15 per pellet (7 pellets per shell)
- Sniper damage amount: 100 -> 125
- Melee damage amount: 50 -> 85
- Grenade damage amount: 145 (at the center of explosion) -> 185 (at the center of explosion)
- Air control: 0.16 -> 0.45
Changes to enemy characters:
- Guns enemy type (Merc) fighting walk speed increased: 350 -> 375
- Merc firerate increased: from between 1.5-4.0 seconds to 1.25-3.5 seconds for projectile gun, and from 2.0-5.0 seconds to 1.5-3.5 seconds for charge rifle
- Increased aim speed of Merc charge rifles: 3.0 -> 4.0
- Melee enemy type (Leo) fighting walk speed increased: 475 -> 575
- Leo health amount decreased: 225 -> 200
- Increased speed of enemy gun projectiles: 5000 -> 6000
- Increased speed of enemy charge rifle projectiles: 180000 -> 200000
- Greatly increased enemy hitboxes.
- Added extra force to enemy ragdolls.
- Headshot damage multiplier: 1.5x -> 1.35x
- Enemy regular gun projectiles damage increase: 11 -> 15
- Enemy charge rifle projectiles damage increase: 16 -> 20
- Border watcher health increase: 4250 -> 4700
- Border watcher stagger state length: 7 seconds -> 12 seconds
- Border watcher damage dealt to total health after core destruction: 1250 -> 1750
Miscellaneous changes:
- All weapons can now be auto fired by holding the attack button.
- Several changes to the big puzzle section at the end of chapter 3: there are now more pipes that can be used to access the level with the second moving platform, and there is now a ladder that can be extended back to the beginning from the generator at about the halfway point of the puzzle.
- Auto surgery units now have 2 charges instead of 1 on Hard difficulty.
- When starting the game from a later chapter using the 'chapter select' menu option, players will now spawn with more ammo (more ammo further along the selected chapter is in the game).
- Added some extra pistol ammo in chapter 2, and extra sniper ammo in chapters 2, 3 and 4.
- Sprint will now also start if while a sprint key is held, one of the movement keys is pressed (before it would only start if one of the movement keys was already held when the sprint key was pressed).
- Sprint is now much 'stickier' on a controller - moving the left stick sideways will no longer disengage sprint.
- If Aim button is held during reload, weapon will now automatically go into aim-down-sights mode after the reload animation finishes.
- Added option in the game menu to toggle between requiring and not requiring reload when Infinite Ammo modifier is enabled.
- Added more respawn points after failing jumps, and made triggers of existing ones tighter.
- Slightly reworked enemy jumping navigation for the ruined cliffside house encounter in chapter 4. Enemies will now no longer jump onto the small piece of geometry near the start of the encounter that made them look like they were jumping into the chasm.
- Opening core hatch after defeating Border Watcher will now just show a disabled core, rather than not allowing you to open the hatch in the first place.
- Big cannons in the background that fire periodically are now a little bit less loud.
- Fixed some typos in the script.
- A warning will now pop up if player tries starting a chapter with the "Start with weapons and items that would've been acquired by this chapter?" option disabled, explaining that doing so can cause the player to get locked out of certain areas.
