Thank you so much for making this game. It was one of the most memorable video game experiences I've ever had. The world gives you such a unique feeling of loneliness, calm but hope at the same time. I look forward to playing more of your games one day!

Hello, I am a young aspiring Ukrainian writer and when I listened to the retelling of your game on YouTube, I was delighted. I decided to write a book about your game but with changes and additions to the plot. I want to ask you for permission to use the universe of your game "Metal Garden".

Hey there. If what you're planning to write is just online fanfiction that you share with your friends, then of course there's no problem with that, you don't really need my permission. However, I can't endorse an officially or commercially released book set in the Metal Garden universe, as that would cause a number of legal issues for me.

Also, speaking as a fellow creative, I'd hugely advise against situating your own large works in other people's IPs and settings. Making a game or writing a book is a ton of work, and you don't want access to it to remain at the whim of an IP holder.

If you're really set on writing this book, I would suggest making your own distinct universe and situating your story within it. Not only will this mean you own your book in it's entirety, but it will also mean you get to make any changes or additions that you want since you'll be working from a fresh base.

Hope this was able to answer your question.

any chance this will come to macOS?

Unfortunately probably not, there's a number of technical issues in porting the game to the mac platform.

I'm amazed how much this feels like a Source Engine game but you've made it in Unreal. If you had any behind the scenes work online I'd love to see it. The art direction is superb!

Its a short game but a really good one, i really like the atmosphere and world.  I hope the developer continues to make games cuz this style is great

Hello Tinerasoft !

Your game looks really cool, but it's only in English. If you want, I can translate it into French for you at a very low price. If you want more information, contact me at matlamit20@gmail.com . I would really like to work with you, please reply to me even if it's negative! 👋

Beautiful and great sounding dystopian wastelands; well-paced lore; exciting low-gravity gunfights mixed with simple puzzles — a really well-made atmospheric adventure.

The only flaw I'd name is the somewhat stupid opponents' AI... But that's not a big deal.

I'm gonna buy it, but is it better for you if I buy+review on here or on steam? What gets you more overall? I know the cut is bigger here but sometimes people want steam reviews.

If you plan to leave a review, then buying on Steam helps me out a lot more, since more reviews lead to much better visibility and Steam has a much bigger userbase than Itch. If you don't plan to leave a review, then buying on Itch helps me out more because of the bigger cut :)

Real excellent stuff. I held my breath for nearly the entirety of the last chapter...the sense of mood and the way the journey progresses, the way the spaces look - it's so eye-catching and great at making the world feel larger than you can explore.

an intense end of a journey of which the exit shifts the whole stroll into another perspective

This looks great, would you prefer if I bought it over here, or waited until the Steam release is out so that I can contribute to pushing you over the 10 review threshold?

Hey, glad to hear you think so! If you plan on leaving a review on Steam, that's indeed going to be more helpful, since getting over that initial hurdle could be quite difficult for me. Thank you for the concern, by the way!

looks good 👍
